A brand new promise of gourmet sensations awaits you at the museum and bakery of Maison du Pain d’Alsace.

In the bakery, you will smell all the Christmas aromas thanks to our numerous specialties such as schnitzlaïwel, christolle, gingerbread, kougelhopfs, and especially nearly 35 types of bredele produced and baked on-site. You can also observe the bakers crafting all these delights.

In the tea room, you can savor our famous puff pastry Christmas tree accompanied by hot beverages.

In the museum, you will hear the bread crack, and you can embark on a family investigation to discover Christmas legends! You will learn that in Sélestat, the “sapain” is king!
