Museum of Maison du Pain d’Alsace

A brand-new museum’s tour takes you into the history of bread with five visiting areas renovated in 2018. From the first ear of wheat to the first types of flour, from the master baker’s work then and now, from the legends of the pretzel to the Kougelhopf, come discover bread in all its forms.

The Bakery of the Maison du Pain d’Alsace

To complete the history, the bakers from Maison du Pain d’Alsace welcome you in the bakery to awake your senses: special types of bread, kougelhops, pretzels, aniseed bread and cookies (bredele) are produced and baked on-site. Hands-on animations for young and old are offered all year round.
